BlueLine (Fond du Lac Avenue – Mill Road)

The BlueLine will undergo several changes that expand access to job areas and create an easier to understand route.
- The new BlueLine route will travel between downtown (Clybourn & N. 5th) and N. 124th & Bradley primarily via Wisconsin Avenue, N. 17th Street, Fond du Lac Avenue, N. 64th Street, Mill Road, and N. 107th Street.
- The BlueLine will continue to provide high frequency service on Fond du Lac Avenue between downtown and N. 60th & Congress as it does today.
- BlueLine service on Congress Street will be removed, but riders will continue to have service by Route 34 (Hopkins – Congress).
- BlueLine service on N. 92nd Street will be removed, but riders will continue to have service with the new Route 92 (92nd Street) (see below).
- Buses on these routes will operate during the same service span and at a similar level of frequency as the BlueLine.
- A new route – Route 18 (National – Greenfield) – will replace former BlueLine service between downtown (Kilbourn & Water) and S. 70th & National. It will also be extended further west on both National Avenue and Greenfield Avenue (see below).
- The new Blueline will also be extended past the northern endpoint at Park Place & Liberty to N. 124th & Bradley to reach multiple unserved businesses including Woodman’s, Aldi, and Sam’s Club.

NEW! Route 18 (National – Greenfield)

The new Route 18 (National – Greenfield) will replace the BlueLine between downtown and West Allis primarily via Water Street / 1st, National Avenue and Greenfield Avenue.
- Route 18 will provide high frequency service (every 15 min.) to Greenfield Avenue & S. 84th. Route 18 buses west of S. 84th Street & Greenfield will alternate between serving segments of both Greenfield Avenue and National Avenue.
- Route 18 will operate west on Greenfield Avenue from S. 84th to S. 124th Street. It will replace Route 56 service which is also being modified (see below).
- Route 18 will replace current Route 54 service on National Avenue from S. 84th to S. 112th Street.
- Service on S. 2nd Street-Plankinton-St. Paul is shifted to Water-S. 1st Street.
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 1:30 am.

Route 22 (Center Street)
Route 22 (Center Street) will be modified and extended west to provide a new connection to Mayfair Mall and to N. 124th Street & North Avenue.
- Buses will travel between UWM and N. 124th & North Avenue primarily via Center Street, 92nd Street, and North Avenue.
- The frequency of weekday service will be approximately every 20 to 25 minutes.
- Weekend service will be approximately every 30 to 35 minutes.
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 12:30 am.

Route 28 (108th Street)
Route 28 (108th) will be modified to expand access to multiple unserved and underserved job areas at both ends of the route.
- Buses will travel from N. Lovers Lane & Silver Spring to Speedway Drive & S. Lovers Lane (S. 108th) primarily via 108th Street and 124th Street.
- Service on the south end will be extended past the Hales Corners park-ride lot and past Forest Home Avenue to Speedway Drive and provide new access to numerous businesses along S. 108th Street.
- Service on the north end will be modified to provide new access to Mayfair Collection and the unserved employment corridor along N. 124th Street between Capitol Drive and Silver Spring Drive.
- Some segments will be removed due to low ridership (i.e. Watertown Plank Road between Mayfair Road and N. 124th, N. 124th between Watertown Plank Road and North Avenue, N. 107th between Silver Spring Drive and Hampton Avenue, and Mayfair Road between Burleigh Street and Hampton Avenue).
- The frequency of service will be approximately every 35 to 40 minutes during the daytime; and hourly during the evening.
- Service will run daily from 6:00 am to 11:30 pm.

Route 54 (Mitchell – Burnham)
Route 54 (Mitchell – Burnham) will be modified on the east end to provide a new connection to an unserved job area at Holt Avenue & Chase Avenue. Service on the west end will be removed, but replaced with new Route 18 service.
- Buses will travel from National & S. 70th to Holt Avenue & Chase Avenue primarily via Burnham Street, Mitchell Street, Kinnickinnic Avenue, S. 1st Street, and Chase Avenue.
- Service on National Avenue to S. 112th Street will be removed but replaced by the new Route 18 (National – Greenfield).
- Service on Burnham Street west of S. 60th to S. 66th and on S. 66th will be removed due to low ridership.
- Direct service to UMOS will be removed, but Route 54 will still have bus stops at Chase & Rosedale nearby.
- The frequency of weekday service on Burnham Street and Mitchell Street will be approximately every 25 to 30 minutes.
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 12:00 am.

Route 55 (Layton Avenue)
Route 55 (Layton Avenue) will be modified to provide more frequent service to riders along Layton Avenue.
- Buses will continue to travel from S. 108th & Layton Avenue to either Lake Drive & Kelly Senior Center or to Kinnickinnic Avenue & Lipton Avenue.
- Service to Southridge via S. 76th Street will be removed due to low ridership. Passengers can continue to make this connection by transferring from Route 55 to the new high frequency Route 76 at S. 74th Street & Layton.
- The frequency of weekday service will be approximately 35 min. versus 40 minutes today.
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 11:30 pm.

Route 56 (Greenfield – S. 43rd)
Route 56 (Greenfield – S. 43rd) will be modified to expand access to the underserved job corridor along Miller Park Way-S. 43rd Street and provide new service to Alverno College.
- Buses will travel from S. 1st & Mitchell Street to Loomis Road & S. 29th primarily via Greenfield Avenue, Miller Park Way-S. 43rd Street, Morgan Avenue, S. 27th Street, and Loomis Road.
- Service on Burnham Street between Miller Park Way and S. 60th will be removed, but Route 54 will continue to provide service in this segment.
- Service on Greenfield Avenue between S. 60th and S. 124th Street will be removed, but replaced by the new Route 18 (National – Greenfield).
- Route 18 will provide high frequency service on Greenfield Avenue between S. 60th Street and S. 84th Street.
- The frequency of weekday service on Greenfield Avenue east of Miller Park Way will be approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 12:00 am.

Route 60 (60th Street)

The new Route 60 (60th Street) is named for the street that it operates on (i.e. N. and S. 60th Street). It will provide new high frequency service from Brown Deer to National Avenue and a similar level of service from National Avenue to Southridge. Current Route 60 service on Burleigh Street will be renamed Route 66 (see below). Route 64 will be retired.
- The new Route 60 will replace current Route 76 service on the North end (N. 60th – S. 70th) and will replace Route 64 service on the South end (S. 60th Street).
- The frequency of weekday service from Brown Deer Road to National Avenue will be approximately every 15 minutes (versus 20 min today). Weekend service will be approximately every 25 minutes (similar to today).
- Service from National Avenue to Southridge will be similar to today (about every 40-45 min).
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 1:00 am.

NEW! 66 (Burleigh Street)
The new Route 66 (Burleigh) is being created since the Route 60 name is being repurposed for the route that serves N. and S. 60th Street.
- Buses will continue to travel from UWM to Mayfair Mall.
- Service to the Mayfair Collection and 124th & Capitol will be removed and replaced with new service via Route 28. Passengers will continue to be able to make this connection by transferring to Route 28 at Mayfair Road & Burleigh.
- Eastbound trips on weekends and during the summer will still terminate at Humboldt.
- The frequency of service will be approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 1:00 am.

Route 76 (76th Street)

The new Route 76 (76th Street) is named for the street that it operates on (i.e. N. and S. 76th Street). It will provide new high frequency service from Brown Deer Road to Southridge. The route will also travel via a segment of 68th – 70th Street. Route 67 will be retired.

- New Route 76 will replace current Route 67 service on N. 76th Street.
- Some low frequency segments of current Route 76 will be removed due to low ridership (i.e., S. 68th Street between National Avenue and Edgerton Avenue; and N. and S. 76th Street between Bluemound Road and Greenfield Avenue).
- Service will also be removed on N. 96th-Allyn-Swan (N. 91st), but the current Route 88 (Brown Deer Road) will remain.
- Service on S. 76th south of Edgerton will now be served by the new Route 60.
- The frequency of weekday service will improve to approximately every 15 min. on N. 76th Street (versus 20 to 25 min. currently) and on S. 76th Street (versus every 35 to 45 min. currently).
- Weekend service will be approximately every 20 to 25 minutes. In comparison, service on S. 76th Street today only runs every 40 to 50 min.
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 1:00 am.

NEW! Route 92 (92nd Street)
The new Route 92 (92nd Street) is named for the street that it operates on (i.e. N. and S. 92nd Street).
- It will establish one route along this corridor (instead of three routes). It will also provide another way to travel to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
- Buses will travel from Heather & N. 107th to Layton Avenue & S. 87th primarily via N. 91st Street and S. 92nd Street.
- There is new service on Discovery Drive and Swan between Watertown Plank and Center Street.
- The frequency of service will be similar to today on N. 91st Street and more often on S. 92nd Street (every 30 to 40 min. versus 60 min.).
- Service will run from 5:00 am to 12:30 am.
